About us
Hi, I'm Kat and I own Beetle About Parties and Boutique. I started face painting in February 2022. I love trying out new designs, being tasked with painting the most random requests and ultimately seeing the reactions of children and adults when they look in the mirror for the big reveal! Since starting, Beetle About has grown over the years to offer Glitter Bars, Makeover Parties, Hair Braiding and 'Birthday Glam' appointments as well as the standard Face Painting packages. We work closely with many party suppliers to provide the ultimate party experiences, with no stress for our clients. Keep an eye on our socials for where we are 'beetling about' to next!
Party Packages
Beetle About offer a range of party packages to suit every occasion.
1 Hour Parties
Face painting, Glitter Bar and Gems. Restricted to NE20 locations. Prices start from £70.
2 Hour Parties
Face painting and Glitter Bar. Maximum 30 children. Prices start from £100 depending on location
Large 2 Hour Parties
Ideal for joint parties or large class parties. Maximum 50 children. Two fantastic face painters and Glitter Bar. Prices start from £200 depending on location.
Makeover Parties
2 Hour parties include:
'Hollywood Glam' set up, hair braiding or ponytail extensions, hair glitter, hair accessories, face gems/glitter. Maximum 8 children. Character visits, crafting activities and bespoke decorations also available upon request. Enquire for a tailored quote.
Birthday Glam
30 minute appointment at your home address or party venue. Includes hair braiding or ponytail extensions, hair glitter, face paint or face gems, hair accessories. Price upon request.
